AFZELIA Environmental Consultants is an association of highly motivated & skilled professionals offering holistic environmental and sustainable development solutions. We apply an integrated approach drawing​ on ecological, GIS, town planning, agronomic and development research expertise.

As a team we offer a professional service with an ability to tackle a wide range of environmental issues. Apart from the members represented on the profile, AFZELIA Environmental Consultants works in co-operation with a number of independent consultants, and has the facility to draw experience and knowledge from these sources. We fully embrace the value of the National Environmental Management Act (Act 107 of 1998) which addresses the aspects of sustainable development for the benefit of all and in particular, the need to ensure that the legal requirements of Section 28 of NEMA which addresses: Duty of care and remediation of environmental damage: “(1) Every person who causes has caused or may cause significant pollution or degradation of the environment must take reasonable measures to prevent such pollution or degradation from occurring, continuing or recurring, or, in so far as such harm to the environment is authorised by law or cannot be reasonably be avoided or stopped, to minimise and rectify such pollution or degradation of the environment.”
